The Nervous System Advantage & The Stories That Shape Our Health
Date: 31st July
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Avenue HQ, East Parade, Leeds
Join the Northern Longevity Collective for an evening of networking, learning and conversation exploring resilience, wellbeing, and the stories that shape our health.
The evening will feature two keynote talks: The Nervous System Advantage, where Louise Mortimer, The Spxce, will explore the role of nervous system regulation in health, performance and wellbeing, and The Stories That Shape Our Health, where Dr William Dawson, The Hundred Society, will discuss how our beliefs, identities and personal narratives influence health behaviours and long-term outcomes.

31st July | 7:00pm
Avenue HQ, East Parade, Leeds
Join the Northern Longevity Collective for an evening of connection, community and insight, featuring keynote talks from Louise on nervous system regulation and Dr William Dawson on narrative medicine, followed by networking with professionals from across health, wellbeing and performance.
Louise Mortimer is the founder of The SPXCE, a coach, practitioner and wellbeing educator. Following a successful 15 year career in the corporate sector, she transitioned into the wellbeing industry, bringing together her professional experience with a deep interest in nervous system health, longevity, wellbeing and human performance.
Over the past several years, Louise has worked with individuals, communities and organisations across the UK. Delivering wellbeing experiences, collaborating with brands, delivering educational workshops and coaching programmes.
Her work centres on helping people better understand their relationship between stress, behaviour and performance, while providing practical tools that support greater awareness and capacity.
Founder of The Hundred Society, Dr William Dawson is an experienced doctor and former healthcare CEO with almost 20 years of clinical experience and a decade in senior healthcare leadership.
His work focuses on helping ambitious individuals improve their health, performance and longevity through clarity, structure and direction.
Dr Dawson has a particular interest in preventative health, metabolic health, healthy ageing and narrative medicine—the idea that the stories we tell ourselves shape our beliefs, behaviours and ultimately our health outcomes.
